Greener on The Other Side

I wanted to develop my idea of a surrealistic landscape that featured through the window of a previous painting (The Next Step) & incorporate some still life detail. This required  building a small window set and shelf  in order to help me accurately recreate and unify the light source  I imagined on the landscape with  the shadows cast by each individual item. The narrative is open for the viewer to interpret or elaborate on.
