I saw this little cottage isolated and exposed yet in reality quite near the hub of activity of the local marina. My imagination kicked in. This area, back in the day, was notorious for smuggling. As I stood painting it, wondering if it might have featured in any bygone mischief, a shaft of sunlight hit the facade and the title for the painting came to me, the cottage had smuggled some sun for itself. but you never know, 100 years ago it may have been involved in a whole lot more...
